In the wake of the recent India-China border clash in Ladakh, the Government of India has now announced a ban on 59 Chinese apps including one of the most popular apps used in India, and world over, TikTok. The app was a rage not only for the TikTokers but also celebrities like Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Jay Bhanushali, Avneet Kaur, Rashami Desai, Shehnaaz Gill, Jannat Zubair and many more have been constantly making TikTok videos. However, as the app is now banned as per the government rule, there are some TikTokers who are really upset but there a few TV and Bollywood celebs like Malaika Arora, Vishal Dadlani, Kamya Punjabi, Nia Sharma, Kushal Tandon and many more who have spoken about the same and gave their reaction on it.
The Naagin actress was elated with the decision and took to her Twitter handle and wrote, "Thank youu for saving our country. This Virus named Tik tok should never be allowed again!" While Kamya was also happy with the decision who tweeted, "Superbbbbbbb @PMOIndia excellent news #JaiHind #BoycottChineseProducts #BoycottChineseApps"
On the other hand, Malla too lauded the government as she said, "The best news I have heard in lockdown...finally we will not be subjected to people's ridiculous video." Bigg Boss 13's former contestant Rashami Desai also shared a video where she has reminded us that our soldiers go through so much just to protect us and serve their nation with no expectations in return and now it is our turn to serve them as a responsible citizen and to support the current situation with love and respect by being together. Letβs show them the power of unity.
